Release of embedded usb stack for renesas RX600 series microcontrollers
HCC-Embedded today announced the release of Embedded USB Device and Host stacks for the Renesas RX600 series of microcontrollers.
The RX CPU core was designed to provide excellent MCU performance and powerful signal-processing capabilities, with fast embedded Flash memory – all while achieving very low power consumption. These versatile and economical MCUs are scalable for many applications and are now supported by HCC’s advanced middleware.
HCC’s Embedded USB Device, Host and OTG stacks, running on the RX600, can support multiple class drivers, including Audio, Mass Storage, HID, CDC-ACM (virtual comm. port), CDC-ECM, MTP, RNDIS, RFI, Printer and Bootloader.
Full support for complex devices is available including compound and composite devices, as well as OTG combinations of host and device solutions. A developer-friendly tool is provided for creating USB descriptors.
Fully integrated solutions, including file systems, TCP/IP as well as USB stack and class drivers can be provided. Projects are available for standard RX600 tool-chains, including HEW and IAR.
