Last year saw the formal release of the TLS 1.3 protocol, the replacement for the long-serving TLS 1.2. Although TLS 1.2 is fundamentally sound, many issues arose. Years of work by IETF specialists have resulted in RFC 8446 that improves on TLS 1.2 in many ways, giving better privacy, security, and performance.

This webinar focuses on the rationale behind TLS 1.3, giving context to the widely reproduced feature list, and explaining how HCC’s implementation is specifically targeted as a robust security solution for embedded systems.
