In this webinar HCC Embedded CEO Dave Hughes presents SafeTCPIP Safety methodologies applied to standard software components.

HCC has developed the SafeTCPIP stack as a Safety Element out of Context (SEooC), designed to be integrated and reused in products that require strict safety standards to be applied – or that simply want to ensure a higher level of reliability.

This webinar explains the development process used, how it enables efficient integration and reuse, and how it maps to ISO 26262 and to other standards such as IEC 61508, IEC 62304, and DO 178B/C.

The webinar also explores the differences between a TCP/IP stack developed with Safety considerations in mind and a standard TCPIP stack, and explains why the former results in a much lower probability of errors occurring.

This is the eighth in a series of HCC Embedded webinars that addresses some of the most challenging aspects of developing safety software.
