This project demonstrates the USB device stack with an Audio 1.0 class driver.

The demo is configured for use with the ADSP-SC573 EZ-Board equipped with the Analog Devices ADSP-SC573 MCU. The hardware configuration is shown below:

Procedure

  1. Connect the EZ-Board to the host PC. It will be available as a sound card.
  2. Connect a stereo audio source to the analog inputs as shown in the photo above.
  3. Connect your stereo speakers/headphones to the analog outputs as shown in the photo above.
  4. Start/stop playing audio on your PC. If your PC operating system does not set up this board as the default playback device, do this manually in your system audio properties or in the media player software you're using (for example Audacity).
  5. Start/stop recording audio on your PC. If your PC operating system does not set up this board as the default recording device, do it manually in your system audio properties or in the recording software you're using (for example Audacity).

Known issues

Playing audio in USB HighSpeed mode is not working yet.
