HCC’ USB Device stack has been ported to the new MSP430F5xxx devices making the full suite of related products available to MSP430 developers:
The available products include:

USB reliable bootloader, with encryption option

Mass Storage Class driver

CDC-ACM (Serial port) Class Driver – for serial port emulation

HID Class Driver for mouse, keyboard and joystick emulation

RFI (Reliable file interface) – allows reliable file systems to connect to Windows
-
CDC-RNDIS – provides a USB interface to a TCPIP stack
-
CDC-ECM – provides USB interface to a TCPIP stack
The Bootloader can exist in 2K of code.
The base USB device controller uses 4-6K of code and additional code and memory is required for each class driver added to the system.
Related products – file systems – HCC have a range of file systems suitable for the MSP430F5xxx series including FAT, THIN, and TINY. Also NAND flash can be interfaced using HCC’s SafeFTL.
