Dataflash

HCC has worked closely with Atmel to develop its DataFlash Management Layer (DFML). DFML can be used with all of HCC's file systems to provide a range of robust and reliable storage solutions.

Additionally, DFML may be used on a stand-alone basis to provide a reliable management layer for accessing DataFlash.

HCC's DFML has been tested and proven on all DataFlash parts.

HCC has tested its file systems on most of Atmel's leading microprocessor lines.

Product options for Dataflash:

• Safe FTL
  For a fully wear-levelled array of logical sectors - typically for use with a FAT file system
• DFML
  Simpler management layer for dataflash which handles the 10K per sector erase/write
• SafeFLASH-DF
  For a full featured reliable flash file system
• TINY-DF
  For a small ROM/RAM footprint reliable flash file system (has DFML integrated)
