North American Sales Executive appointed

HCC-Embedded (HCC), the foremost vendor of data storage solutions for embedded applications, has announced the appointment of Bernard Mushinsky as General Manager of its newly established North American office.

Bernard Mushinsky is a veteran of the embedded systems business. He was a founder of IPI, the pioneering RTOS company that introduced its first products to the marketplace in 1976. IPI’s product line, known as MTOS, has been used in thousands of embedded applications in North America, Europe and Asia, and still functions in millions of devices. Bernard was responsible for IPI’s worldwide sales and marketing activities, from their inception until the MTOS technology was sold in 1997.

HCC’s product portfolio includes file systems for the broadest variety of storage devices and environments. Its OS-agnostic products are used with all popular commercial real-time operating systems, with home-brew operating systems, and with no OS at all. HCC’s products are used in virtually all areas of the embedded ecosystem, including consumer devices, communication systems, industrial control, medical apparatus, avionics, automotive applications, security systems, and many others.

The company’s USB software line complements the file management systems by providing essential communication solutions for many embedded designs.
